The History and Future of U.S.-Pakistan Nuclear Relations

For decades, U.S. relations with Pakistan have been complicated by Pakistan’s development of nuclear weapons. This roundtable explores the history and likely future of U.S. policy toward Pakistan’s nuclear program, including the prospects of achieving meaningful limits on Pakistan’s growing arsenal.

Rabia Akhtar is the founding Director of the Centre of Security, Strategy and Policy Research (CSSPR) at the University of Lahore, Lahore Pakistan.

Chris Clary is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Watson Institute.

Nicholas Miller is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Watson Institute.
