4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

True North Classroom, Stephen Robert '62 Hall, 280 Brook Street

In view of recently released university guidance on events on campus, CLACS has made the decision to cancel its events with the exception of the March 11, 2020 lecture by Julio Capó, Jr. This decision was not made lightly. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing more programming as soon as we are able to do so.

Book Launch co-sponsored with the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs.

Congahead - The Autobiography of Martin Cohen tells the remarkable story of an impoverished young man from New York who actively pursued his passion for Latin music and photography while simultaneously building the world's largest percussion company. Congahead takes you through Cohen's engrossing life journey, from the discovery of his love for photography to his profound interest in Latin music at the age of 17. This story teaches audiences how tenacity can lead to pioneering a sucessful global business - all stemming from one individual's dream.
