California Series in Public Anthropology and the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs present the second annual New Books in Public Anthropology Virtual Café, with readings and comments by:

Andrea Flores, Assistant Professor of Education at Brown University and author of Succeeders: How Immigrant Youth Are Transforming What It Means to Belong in America.

Mara Buchbinder, Professor of Social Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and author of Scripting Death: Stories of Assisted Dying in America.

Aaron J. Jackson, anthropologist living and working in Melbourne and author of Worlds of Care: The Emotional Lives of Fathers Caring for Children with Disabilities.

The event will be moderated by Ieva Jusionyte, Watson Family University Associate Professor of International Security and Anthropology and editor of the California Series in Public Anthropology.
