The Chong Wook Lee and Vartan Gregorian Distinguished lecture honors Chong Wook Lee, founder and former president of the University of Suwon, the Republic of Korea and Vartan Gregorian, president emeritus of Brown University and president of the Carnegie Corporation of New York. The lectureship symbolizes the friendship between the two presidents and celebrates the relationship between the two Universities, which was established formally in1992. The lectureship aims to increase understanding about global issues and problems, particularly those affecting Asia and the United States.
