I am a third-year PhD student in the Economics Department, specializing in Urban Economics and Development Economics. My current work focuses primarily on urban disasters, rebuilding, and the resulting shifts in long-run city outcomes. My other research interests focus on slums, property rights, and education in the developing world.
I hold a master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a bachelor’s degree from Western University, Canada. Prior to joining Brown University, I worked in Myanmar on facilitating economic research, urban planning, and LDC graduation
