Archana Ramanujam

I am a PhD student in Sociology, with research interests in environmental and political sociology. More specifically, I am interested how colonial capitalism is reproduced in and drives the climate crisis, and how forms of democratization and decolonization could counter these dynamics. I obtained my Research Master’s in Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and my A.B. from Dartmouth College. Additionally, I have worked in research and data science for 5 years, in academic and government settings, and have been an advocate of climate and racial justice.
