Cecilia Rocha Carpiuc

Cecilia Rocha Carpiuc is an assistant professor of the Department of Political Science at Universidad de la República and a candidate researcher of the National Research System in Uruguay. She received an undergraduate degree in political science and a MA in public policies and gender. She holds a scholarship from the Organization of American States for her Ph.D. studies in political science at Universidad Nacional de San Martín, Argentina. For her doctoral thesis, she is researching the collective action of groups affected by multiple discriminations (gender, ethnicity, race, class, migration condition), analyzing the situation of domestic workers in Latin America.
