I am a PhD student in Anthropology. My primary research interest lies in operating NGOs and foundations in China. I use multi-sited ethnography to explore how professionals in the nonprofit sector understand and pursue development and how they negotiate resources with corporations and the government. I obtained my BA in sociology from Reed College in 2018.
