I am a doctoral student in political science. My research focuses on efforts to improve the wellbeing of populations affected by armed conflict. I am particularly interested in interventions aimed at preventing political, community, and family
violence, strengthening civil society and local governance, and integrating forced migrants into their new societies. I am also a Senior Research Associate at the CPC
Learning Network at Columbia University and have previously worked for the
Program on Forced Migration and Health at Columbia, the Alliance for Child
Protection in Humanitarian Action, the International Trauma Studies Program, and
the Center on Child Protection and Wellbeing at the University of Indonesia. I have a
Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Brain,
Behavior, and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan.
