Evaline graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2006 with a BA in Education, and in 2008 with an MA in Demography. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Population Studies at the University of Nairobi under the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) PhD Fellowship. Her research topic focuses on factors associated with the utilization of postabortion care (PAC) services. Specifically the study aims to understand the socioeconomic and demographic characteristic of PAC clients, their experiences in seeking PAC services, their perception towards the quality of the services, and community’s attitudes towards PAC services. Her research interests are reproductive health issues and community involvement in health.
