Kelly Bay-Meyer serves as Operations Director at Degrees of Change, a national non-profit organization whose mission is to prepare diverse, homegrown leaders to succeed in college and use their degrees to build more vibrant and equitable communities. She earned her PhD in political science from Brown in 2011. Her dissertation research focused on education politics, direct democracy and citizen empowerment in Nicaragua.
