Mariana Chudnovsky

Chudnovsky is working on her dissertation for a PhD in Political Science at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina. She obtained a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue an MA in Politics at New York University, and also obtained an MA in Public Policy at Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina. Her BA was in Sociology at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Chudnovsky’s research topic focuses on how the interaction of certain features of the subnational political regime and state capacities affect the implementation of health policies. She will focus on six provinces and has been doing fieldwork on two (Chaco and Formosa), supported by grants from the National Agency for Scientific Promotion from Argentina and from the Universidad of San Andrés.

Chudnovsky is a full-time Lecturer at the Universidad of San Andrés, where she teaches several courses on research methodology in the departments of Management and Social Sciences.
