Fall 2019 & Spring 2020 Nicolás Vidal is a PhD student in Political Science at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and researcher at the Center for Studies in Economic Sociology and Finance (NESEFi/UFSCar). He has a degree in Sociology from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and a master’s degree in Political Science from the Federal University of São Carlos. He works in Sociology, Economic and Finance Sociology and Sociology of Organizations, with an emphasis on the following topics: State, companies, entrepreneurs and elites.
In 2019 he won a grant from Coordenação de aperfeiçoamento de pessoal de nivel superior (CAPES) to continue his research at Brown University as a Visitant Scholar.
