Sangeetha Yogendran is a lawyer, and human rights and humanitarian professional, and possesses more than a decade of experience on international legal research, advocacy, and program management. She currently manages the Women Leaders in International Justice and Accountability project with the Asia Justice Coalition. She has previously worked on various issues including transitional justice and human rights work in Cambodia and Sri Lanka, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore on international boundary issues, in the occupied Palestinian territories on humanitarian law violations, as well as with Rohingya refugee communities in Malaysia and in Australia. She has extensive experience as a researcher on transitional justice, humanitarian assistance, rule of law, and business and human rights issues with various organisations focused on the Asia and ASEAN region. Sangeetha has also worked in humanitarian response throughout Asia, and has been deployed to support humanitarian responses in the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Sangeetha is a qualified Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore, and holds an LL.M. in Public International Law from the University of Melbourne, an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore, and a postgraduate diploma in Poverty Reduction Policies and Practices with the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She also holds a Masters in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies from the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies in Cambodia together with  Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia.
