Temesgen Beyene , MD, is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Addis Ababa University's College of Health Sciences. His work focuses on the clinical care of acute disease and emergency care of critically ill patients. He graduated from Harvard Medical School Global Clinical Research Scholars Training Program in the year 2017. Dr. Beyene Abicho’s areas of interest include clinical research, public health aspects of emergency medicine and disaster preparedness and planning involving the different hospitals located within the capital city of Addis Ababa, where he coordinated disaster drill simulations through an initiative of the Ministry of Health and School of Medicine. He is currently involved in educating his juniors, creating media based education focusing on public health emergencies including road traffic accident preventions and pre-hospital care initiatives. He also has special interest in Emergency Medicine system development in resource limited settings.
