Join us for a conversation on the conflict in Syria and the ensuing refugee crisis. Our panelists will give us a background on the current situation and what the future looks like for refugees in Europe and elsewhere. We will also be discussing and learning about the structural determinants of health in a war zone, and the social and economic barriers that victims of these conflicts face both in Syria and after migrating out of Syria.

Joining us will be Professor Stephen Kinzer, a renowned journalist, author and current fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University, Professor Westy Egmont, an expert on immigration and policy from Boston College, and Professor Sarah Tobin, Professor of Anthropology and the Associate Director of Middle Eastern Studies at Brown University.You can read more about our speakers herehere and here respectively.
