ABOUT THE CLDP

The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and the Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) teamed up to create the Congressional Leadership Development Program (CLDP) to develop tomorrow’s American Muslim leaders—the next mayors, city councilors, members of Congress, CEOs and non-profit executive directors.

All applicants who apply for a CLDP internship must be:

  • Muslim, or an active member of the Muslim community
  • Enrolled at an accredited university in the U.S. or graduated within the last year
  • Majoring in an ISF supported major
  • Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average
  • A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.
  • An undergraduate (incoming junior-senior) or of graduate standing (excluding Ph.D.)
