Karam Dana

Dr. Karam Dana is a Palestinian-American academic. He is Associate Professor of Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies at the University of Washington Bothell. His research examines the socio-political conditions that affect the formation and evolution of political identities and civic participation in Palestine and transnationally. Dr. Dana is the Director of the American Muslim Research Institute (AMRI), and the principal investigator of two ongoing projects: The Middle East Public Opinion Project, and the Muslim American Public Opinion Survey. He has published numerous articles in leading social science and interdisciplinary academic journals on the question of Palestine and on American Muslims.
