Alex Poterack is a Lecturer in the Economics Department at Brown. He holds a BA in behavioral economics and public oolicy from New York University, and a PhD in economics from Boston University. In addition to Brown and Boston University, he has also taught at Wellesley College. Poterack has done research in decision theory and political economy, and taught topics from the mathematics of economics to international trade to environmental economics, among others. He is currently collaborating with an illustrator on a mathematics for economics textbook.
