Amalia Coyle most recently worked at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Her experiences as an intern for the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs in Tijuana, Mexico, and Santiago, Chile inspired her interest in global policy with a focus on development in Latin America. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Amalia received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and justice and peace studies with a concentration in Latin American politics and economics from Georgetown University.
