Briscoe Turner recently earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. As an undergraduate research assistant, she studied how the stigma associated with a criminal record impacts a person’s well being after they transition from incarceration back into society. During her junior year, Briscoe attended the Public Policy and International Affairs Junior Summer Institute at Princeton University. Briscoe aspires to pursue a career related to criminal justice policy, human rights, and racial equity. She is from Ellicott City, Maryland.
