Biography

Daniel Fitzgerald recently earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston College, where he majored in international studies (political science concentration) and music. In addition to teaching civics in underserved Boston high schools through Generation Citizen (GC), Daniel worked as an intern for GC, where he collaborated with state and nonprofit officials to help schools across Massachusetts implement new K-12 social studies legislation. Daniel plans to work in international relations and is interested in issues ranging from the environment to economic and trade relations. At Boston College, Daniel played violin in the Middle East Ensemble and the BC Symphony. He is from Erie, Pennsylvania.
