David Cazares received his bachelor's degree in urban studies at the University of California, Irvine. His interest in reducing income inequality was sparked by his internship at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Office of Labor Standards, where he learned the details of enforcing labor policies. Previously he was a project coordinator at the engineering firm, TAIT and Associates, where he learned the municipal process of land development and the impact urbanization can have on a city. David is originally from Soledad, California. He is fluent in Spanish.
