Deborah Meirowitz recently earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University with dual concentrations in international and public affairs and theatre arts. While at Brown, she conducted conflict studies and mediation research and authored an honors thesis about binational solidarity in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Deborah is currently serving as a research assistant for Dr. Wendy Schiller, focusing on issues of domestic violence jurisdiction in Native communities. She also has experience working in a number of policy-oriented institutions, including a congressional office. She hopes to continue working on critical issues surrounding international relations, constitutional law, Indigenous rights, and gender and politics. She is proficient in Spanish.
