Fiona Kastel recently earned her bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of Utah. While there, she performed research on the regional economic impact of designating Grand-Staircase Escalante as a national monument. Fiona also interned with Eagle Condor Humanitarian in Cajamarca, Peru, where she taught English at a local university and volunteered in the community. Fiona is fluent in German and proficient in Spanish. She hopes to apply her quantitative skill set to issues surrounding economic development, resource allocation, and environmental sustainability.
