Isaac Rutiz recently graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in public policy. During an internship with Brightline Defense, he researched and drafted a community air monitoring grant for three community-based organizations. He has also interned for The Borgen Project, a nonprofit that advocates for poverty reduction legislation at the national level. In the future, he hopes to work on critical issues around environmental justice, crime, and drug policy. Isaac is originally from San Luis Obispo, California and is proficient in Spanish.
