Biography

Kristine Frech is executive director for Teach for America Rhode Island. Previously she was director of YouthBuild with the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission. She also served as vice president of Skyward, an organization tasked with creating and executing myNKY, a strategic plan that combines education, wellness, and jobs in productive, inclusive, and meaningful ways for the northern nine counties of Kentucky. Frech began her career teaching middle school special education as a Teach For America corps member in Charlotte, North Carolina. Frech earned her BA in sociology with a minor in English and MA in educational administration from Xavier University.
