Margaret Elam recently earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and English literature from the University of Colorado Boulder. She spent the past year as a research assistant at Leeds Business School researching and conducting case studies on foundations that make program related investments. Her role was to gain insight into how people are connected to resources, and why some resources are preferred over others. She hopes to work with an intergovernmental organization to connect people to additional resources more efficiently. She is fluent in French, and has basic skills in Korean and Japanese. She is originally from Durham, North Carolina.
