Nandi Mehta

MD/MPA

Nandi Mehta is a member of the class of 2023 at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, pursuing a dual MD/MPA degree. She has worked extensively on policy and legislation within the NCAA for several years. Her interests in medicine include surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency/wilderness medicine, and pediatrics. She aspires to practice clinically and work to shape better healthcare policy, specifically focusing on access to care and addressing racism in medicine. She is fluent in French, proficient in Spanish, and learning Portuguese. Nandi is from Lexington, Massachusetts. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics and international studies from Northwestern University, where she served as a three-year captain of the varsity women’s soccer team.
