Nikisha Vaghjiani most recently worked as a lead researcher in HIV and aging at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Ghana. Her primary policy interests include global health, quality of life, resiliency, and pediatrics. Nikisha is from the Mojave Desert of California and hopes to pursue her medical career and continue her home-grown appreciation for the outdoors by leading a wilderness medicine elective. Nikisha is taking a one-year leave from her medical studies at Brown to earn her MPA degree. She received her bachelor’s degree in science and society and contemplative studies from Brown University.
