Owen Manahan earned his bachelor’s degree in health studies from the University of Rhode Island. He recently worked at the Rhode Island Department of Health on a vaccine data team and as a research assistant on a Rhode Island health literacy project. He serves on the board of directors of the Rhode Island Public Health Association, where he is co-chair of the communication committee. His policy and research interests include income inequality and access to healthcare. Owen is proficient in Spanish and video production. He is originally from Kennebunk, Maine.
