Uchechukwu Onwunaka received her bachelor's degree in public policy and Africana studies from Brown University. She is currently conducting research on racial disparities in K-12 education in the sociology department at Brown. Uche was a foreign service intern at the Department of State and was a legislative intern in the office of Massachusetts State Representative Tackey Chan. Her policy interests lie at the intersection of health, education, and social welfare. Uche is an ethnically Igbo Nigerian-American, born and raised in the greater Boston area.
