With the next G20 meeting taking place in South Korea in November and a US-Korea Free Trade Agreement advancing in Washington and Seoul, the stage is set for Korean Ambassador Han Duk-soo's lecture at Brown on Monday.
An advocate of a greater role for Asia in global policy and of a breakthrough in trade relations between the US and Korea, Ambassador Han will speak about how he sees such dynamics playing out in the future. His talk, "Korea-US Relations: Past, Present, and Future," will be introduced by Brown University's newest professor at large, William R. Rhodes, a renowned international financial diplomat and until recently a top executive at Citigroup.
His talk, at 3pm in Pembroke Hall 305, 172 Meeting Street, is part of the Chong Wook Lee and Vartan Gregorian Lecture Series, cohosted by the Watson Institute and the William R. Rhodes Center for International Economics and Finance.
