Ariella Azoulay, Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature and Modern Culture and Media and faculty in Middle East Studies, will give a talk on Wednesday, February 6 titled "Potential History of Palestine." The lecture, at 4 P.M. in the Joukowsky Forum, will outline Azoulay's effort to develop a new model for narrating the past, using photographs and citizenship to tell a different kind of history. Right: From "Act of State 1967-2007," an exhibition curated by Azoulay in Tel Aviv that is "an attempt to outline a photographed history of the Israeli Occupation of the Palestinian Territories."
