New Choices Curriculum Explores Civil Rights Movement

As Martin Luther King, Jr. Day approaches, the Choices Program announces the publication of its latest curriculum offering, Freedom Now: The Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi. The materials explore the history of the civil rights movement at local and national levels. One of the most racially divided states in the South, Mississippi symbolized the oppression and violence of white supremacy, and the strong black movement that rose up in response.
