Pinheiro to UN: "Bring Syria to a just and lasting peace"

Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro, Chair of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic and adjunct professor at the Institute, addressed a plenary session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York today. In his briefing on the human rights situation in Syria, Pinheiro described a country in "free-fall."
