In The New Yorker, Muhanna questions Disney's choice in translating hit movie "Frozen" into Modern Standard Arabic.

Elias Muhanna, assistant professor of comparative literature, writes about the translation of Disney's "Frozen" into Modern Standard Arabic, which is a more formal version of the language that most children are unfamiliar with.
