Raimondo Launches Review Of Public School Funding

Dr. Kenneth K. Wong, chair of the Department of Education, is among the 29 member working group tasked with examining whether Rhode Island's public school funding formula is working as intended. Gov. Gina Raimondo signed an executive order Thursday for the group to examine the formula, especially in regard to charter schools, special needs students and kids learning English.
