Most millennials believe that neither the Democratic or Republican party care about them, according to the Pew Research Center. Xochitl Hinojosa, a top advisor for DNC chair Tom Perez, said the party is aware of the issue and suggested that Perez's appointment at Brown is part of a larger effort to engage millennials on politics and policy.
