“If you’re really living in a democracy and really shaping the world that you’re in, that stuff happens in schools.”
Susan Graseck
Susan Graseck is a senior fellow at the Watson Institute and the founding director of the Choices Program, a national education initiative that serves as an outreach component of the Institute’s research. The program was established in 1988 to engage students at the secondary level in consideration of the historical roots and current realities of the most pressing international concerns of our day. Through its print and digital curriculum resources and its professional development programs, the Choices Program now reaches teachers and their students in one third of the secondary schools in the United States and in more than 200 educational institutions beyond the US.
