Celebrating Eight Years with President Lagos

In 2007, Brown University announced that former President of Chile Ricardo Lagos E. would join the University community as Professor at Large. Over the last eight years, President Lagos has come to campus each semester to meet with students and faculty, organize events and global conferences, visit classes, and offer lectures. 

Colleagues and friends gathered at the Watson Institute to thank President Lagos for his generosity, friendship and enduring contributions to the Brown community, and to welcome his continued participation in the years to come.
