In his review of Jeff Colgan's Petro-Aggression: When Oil Causes War (Cambridge University Press, 2013), Paul Musgrave of Dickinson College writes: “Colgan adds to a growing literature that demonstrates a relationship between the personalities of state leaders, the ways that the structures of their regimes affect their incentives, and the foreign policies they choose.” The review appeared in Energy Research & Social Science (March 6, 2015).
