Sarah Gault previously worked as a policy researcher on state and local finance issues at the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C. There she contributed to work in the areas of taxation, immigration, and simplifying student aid. Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in psychology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She spent a month studying social entrepreneurship in the Dominican Republic, where she learned about policies that help to improve people’s lives and promote economic change in a sustainable way. Originally from England, Sarah also grew up in Bedford, Massachusetts.
