Amy Lei is interested in startup investment policies in China, particularly for young entrepreneurs. This interest has grown from her experience cofounding a protein bar in China and serving as chief financial officer for that business. Through this experience, she gained a understanding of how domestic policy impacts entrepreneurship and allocation of seed funding. Amy previously interned as a trader at Barclays London. Amy received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from London School of Economics, where she developed a strong interest in macroeconomics and a comparative perspective between European and Chinese economies. She is fluent in Chinese.
