Book co-edited by Vazira F-Y Zamindar reviewed in The Wire

In 2014 and 2015, Brown University Professor of History Vazira Fazila-Yacoobali Zamindar co-organized the Brown-Harvard Pakistani Film Festivals. Following these events, Zamindar, along with Asad Ali, edited the book "Love, War and Other Longings: Essays on Cinema in Pakistan" (Oxford University Press, 2020), bringing together essays by historians, anthropologists, artists, and film-makers in order to reach a wider South Asian public and engage the next generation of film-makers and film scholars.
