Prerna Singh Cited in the Juggernaut

Prerna Singh has recently been cited in The Juggernaut's article: "Why So Many South Asian Men Are Mama's Boys."
Weighing in on gender inequalities, Prof. Singh states, “You just have to look at the most basic indicators of women’s wellbeing to realize that India is one of the worst places in the world to be a woman, if you’re lucky enough to be born in the first place.”
Prerna Singh is Mahatma Gandhi Associate Professor of Political Science and International Studies and faculty fellow at the Watson Institute. Her research focuses on comparative politics, political economy of development, social welfare, and politics of South Asia and East Asia.
