Project Title: Environmental Subjectivity Creation through Community-based Development Organization WASH Intervention

In many informal settlements in Delhi, non-governmental organizations play crucial roles in the provision of key services such as water. These organizations both construct infrastructure and help these communities interface with the government. As a result, communities’ relationships with the environment are partially mediated by these NGOs. I aim to examine whether and how the subjectivities of citizens as they relate to the environment and to water are shaped by their involvement with a particular NGO based in Delhi - FORCE-NGO
