Join CareerLAB and Climate Solutions Lab as they present a panel featuring alumni discussing their work in climate/clean/green/energy and how they got there. There will be time for questions from students, and an opportunity to meet with alumni hosts 1:1 in breakout rooms.

Lusine Galoyan ’14, Associate - Cleantech, Renewables, and Utilities at Bank of America
Bio: Lusine graduated from Brown with an Sc.B. in Human Biology. She was appointed to serve as a Policy Advisor in the Obama Administration, and worked at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and at the Department of Energy helping to expand university and government science & technology collaborations, and as a congressional liaison for cybersecurity of the energy grid. After the Administration, Lusine returned to Brown to work in President Paxson’s Office as Assistant for Special Projects, and helped coordinate our University’s ESG goals and the transition of our campus electricity to renewable sources. Currently, Lusine is an Associate at Bank of America Cleantech, Power and Renewables investment banking group, where the team works with cleantech and renewables companies on their financing, and provides advice to utilities on energy transition. Lusine holds an M.B.A from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
Julia Gold ’06, Principal Policy and Strategy Analyst, Clean Transportation at National Grid
Bio: Julia Gold serves as the Principal Policy and Strategy Analyst for Clean Transportation at National Grid. She is dedicated to the creation of a sustainable, smart, and equitable transportation future where new systems and technologies are integrated into our lives in a thoughtful and holistic manner. Working in RI, NY, and MA, she aims to accelerate and enable electric vehicle adoption through supportive policy development, broad stakeholder engagement, and strategic program design to meet the diverse needs of National Grid’s customers and communities.
Jasmine McAdams ’16, Program Officer at National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC)
Bio: Jasmine McAdams joined NARUC as a Program Officer in the Center for Partnerships and Innovation in August 2020. She develops educational programs and resources for state public utility commissioners and staff on emerging issues in the energy sector including energy justice, transportation electrification, nuclear energy, and coal modernization and carbon management. Prior to joining NARUC, Jasmine was an associate analyst with Abt Associates where she provided compliance, evaluation, outreach, and policy support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She also worked as a research technician with the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Institute of Marine Sciences where she helped investigate the ecological effects of sea-level rise on North Carolina’s marsh habitats. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Brown University.
