Special Topics in Environmental Policy: Rethinking Environmental Security

As the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm looms in the middle of 2022 it seems timely to revisit the classic discussions of environment and development and remind everyone that the 1972 conference as well as Our Common Future 15 years later were both concerned with the security dimensions of environment and the dangers of conflict disrupting attempts at development. Now climate has made all these discussions especially pressing so lets get some graduate students loose on topic as the new Wallstrom project on "Environment of Peace" takes shape in Stockholm.
