Program Costs

The program fee includes robust programming outside of the classroom, including the Global Policy Experience (GPE), the Policy-In-Action Consultancy, extensive career development programs, speaker events, and career networking both within Brown's extensive alumni community and your policy area.

GPE expenses including round-trip international airfare and local travel, accommodation, all meals, host institution fees, and activity fees are part of tuition costs. Stipends are available for Policy-In-Action consultancies outside of Providence and Boston, including international locations, New York, and Washington, D.C. Stipends are also available for attendance at approved public policy career fairs and graduate student policy conferences (e.g. APPAM).

The current full-time direct billed costs for this program are $90,929. This includes tuition, student fees, and health insurance.

Many students receive merit-based funding. There isn't any additional paperwork to fill out. The admissions committee will read a student's entire file and grant merit-based financial awards based on that information.
